Family Welfare Foundation (FWF) is a community based and women human rights non-governmental organization (NGO) contributes in advancing women human rights, improve primary healthcare services and social-economic development for women and young people in Tanzania. FWF advocates for improved policies to promote women human rights, primary healthcare and social-economic development for women and young people. It strengthens capacities of local government and communities in advancing women human rights improve primary healthcare services and social- economic development for women and young people. It strengthening the capacities of women and communities to challenge social-economic hardship and addressing the health and social impacts of climate change.
We seek to work in a culturally sensitive way, embracing diversity and demonstrating an understanding of health inequalities, working in solidarity with communities that have limited access to health services.
